The 25 most-played servers on the list, ranked by how many players were online at the last check.

We didn’t want to pick favourites. Instead, this list lets players decide with their feet: it ranks servers by how many people were playing on them when we last checked.

How this list was made

  • Servers are ordered by players online at the most recent check. Offline servers are left out.
  • Player counts favour big networks. A smaller server can still be the better fit; check the monthly top 50 and the game-mode pages too.
  • Voting on the new site started with the relaunch, so vote totals aren’t part of this ranking yet.

What the list has in common

  • 7 of 25 let Java and Bedrock players into the same world.
  • The most common game modes are PvP (18), Skyblock (17) and Survival (17). Most big servers run several game modes behind one address.
  • Big player counts usually mean a network, not a single world: a lobby that sends you on to the game mode you pick.
